The wait is over! Beginning March 1, get ready to shuffle to the shuttle for a ride around the Village! Service begins and ends at the Waikoloa Village Post Office Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:10 p.m. Service will be on a flag-down basis in addition to the regular stops (look for a Polynesian Tour Adventures shuttle). General cost is $1.00 per ride. Children under 5 ride for free. Students, seniors (55 and above) and disabled ride for free with valid I.D. Disabled individuals must obtain a disabled Bus Pass from the County of Hawaii Mass Transit Office: http://www.heleonbus.org/forms-and-applications/Disabled%20Free%20Transportation%20Application.pdf/@@preview_full . There is a $1.00 charge for each carry-on item over 16" x 10"(not including personal items such as purses or backpacks). Most standard grocery bags are approximately 15-1/2” x 10”. Attached, please find route map, timetable, and general information.
Please share this information with as many friends, businesses, and organizations as you can – if the bus is under-utilized, the program may be cut. Thank you for helping us spread the word!
