Our General Manager, Jim Whillock, informed the Board at the last Board meeting that he plans to retire on June 30, 2012. In his retirement letter to the Board, he has offered to assist the Board in finding and training his replacement, and we are currently reviewing options.

Jim informed the Board that he has enjoyed his job as the General Manager of the Waikoloa Village Association, but that he feels that it is time for him to give retirement another try. However, he has agreed to make himself available as a consultant to his replacement for a period of time to ensure a smooth transition.

We are beginning our search for Jim’s replacement.
