The Environmental Control Department (ECD)
was established to enforce what is covered in the Declaration of Protective Covenants (DOPC/CC&R's)
for the purpose of enhancing and protecting the value, desirability and attractiveness of the village, as a whole, and each individual "residential" property.
It is also our duty to receive and handle all complaint calls pertaining to the DOPC/CC&R's
. Calls pertaining to life-threatening situations
should be handled by the Police. For instance; robberies, suspicious people, cars speeding, out of control parties, car break-ins, fights, etc. Please call the police at 911 immediately for these types of situations.
Please note: All roads and parks
in the Waikōloa Village Association are owned by Hawaii County
. Therefore, any concerns regarding the roads such as malfunctioning traffic signals, potholes, abandoned vehicles, etc., should be addressed by calling the Hawaii County Highway Maintenance Department
