The Village Course

Robert Trent Jones (RTJ) and his two sons are famous golf course architects who have collectively worked on over 500 championship courses worldwide. RTJ II designs are highly renowned as some of the best golf courses in America. Hawai'i is home to five, each ranking among the top 20 courses in the world.

Our course is a community gem - enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. Its beautiful greens are nesting homes to the Hawaiian Nēnē (endemic goose), supplied by natural water wells, maintained with non-toxic fertilizers, and powered by renewable energy sources. The Village Course is one of the largest employers on the island, with nearly 50 groundskeepers working round the clock to preserve our beautiful green fairways. If you would like to learn more, stop by the Pro Shop and meet our resident USGA Pro, Kevin Hayashi. He and his friendly staff are always at your service.

Aquatic Center
Open daily 6:30 am - 7 pm

Our Aquatic Center has six swim lanes, three of which are partitioned for 25-yard lap swimming every day. The keiki (children's) pool features a wade-in entry, with 3D-casted ocean creatures inside to entertain the little ones. The pool water is a mix of chlorine and salt, for that authentic beach feel. The temperature is maintained with a solar powered heat pump, keeping it a warm 83° all year long. Please keep in mind there are no lifeguards on duty.

WVA Amenity cards are required for entry. If you need an Amenity card, stop by the Association Office or click here to request yours today.

Weekday mornings from 9 am - 10 am — join a friendly group of residents for water aerobics!

Tennis & Pickleball Courts
Open daily 7 am - 9 pm

The Waikōloa Village Association (WVA) has two (2) tennis & pickleball courts for the enjoyment of all WVA owners, tenants, and guests who possess a current amenity card. Please see our Aquatic Center entry for details on acquiring a card. All tennis & pickleball court reservations are made online, including "Pukaball" (Pickleball), and managed by the WVA Aquatic Center staff. Please check in before your reservation at the WVA Aquatic Center.

Waikōloa Stables

The Stables are a 25-acre historic landmark designed by Vladimir Ossipoff, who you may also know as the designer of the sailing sculpture at the top of Waikōloa Road. A cultural institution, the Paniolo (Hawaiian Cowboy) heritage was a major focal point of the days of the Great Waikōloa Horse Races and Rodeo. Cowboys from all over the U.S. came to compete for cash and prizes. Trail riding was used to sell property throughout the Village until the golf course was completed. Because of its central location, large social gatherings and festivals were common occurrences at the Stables, making it a destination within our community.

Facility Rentals

There are three facility rooms that can be reserved by members for a recurring gathering or one-time event. If you like to see the facilities before booking, please come by the Association Office and we will give you a tour.
  • The Community Room is a large open space behind to Association Office, with windows that look out onto the driving range. It includes air conditioning, Wi-Fi, fans, excellent lighting, and includes the use of chairs & tables for approximately 60 people if needed. It is appropriate for all types of gatherings or parties.
  • The 'Ohana Room is a slightly smaller space, located in front of Johnny's restaurant. It is appropriate for small parties, baby showers, and small meetings
  • The Banquet Room is located behind Johnny's restaurant. It is appropriate for wedding receptions, large parties, baby showers, ministry gatherings, music groups, large meetings, and much more.
